What It Is show (2-4 pm Pacific)
Sat., December 25, 2010
hosted by Jack Frybulous

The windswept coasts & mountainous redwood forests of Humboldt, Mendocino and Del Norte counties in northwest California have, since 1986, been covered by the FM signals of KMUD, Redwood Community Radio, their mission: to entertain, to inform, to inspire.

Jack referred to his show as the most unpredictable music on the FM dial, although more and more comedy was included in later years, including segments from the Onion Radio News network, and tons of standup: Maria Bamford,
Dave Chappelle, Mitch Hedberg, Jim Jefferies (esp. on Confederate statues, and gun control), and George Carlin (on hats and patriotism) were often heard. But "variety-format" music was always the heart of the show.

Playlists are here.
